Privacy Policy

Effective 5 October 2026

This policy covers the Android app Тести ПДР України and explains, under Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR), which data is processed and why.

1. Controller

Vitali Makarevich, a natural person established in Poland, the app’s developer on Google Play. Contact: vitaliy.makarevich.market@gmail.com.

2. Data on your device

The app has no accounts and does not ask for your name, email address or any other identifying data. Your progress and settings stay on your device and are not sent to us. You can erase them by clearing the app’s data or uninstalling it.

If you email us, we use your address and message only to reply to you.

3. Google services

The app uses Google services that automatically collect device and installation identifiers, your IP address, and data about how the app is used and how it performs:

For Crashlytics, Performance Monitoring and Cloud Messaging, Google processes data on our behalf as a processor; Google Analytics is governed by the Google Analytics terms; for advertising, Google acts as an independent controller. More: Privacy and Security in Firebase and How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services.

4. Legal bases and consent

In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, processing for advertising, Google Analytics and Performance Monitoring is based on your consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)), requested through Google’s consent message. Until you consent, Google Analytics and Performance Monitoring stay off and no personalised ads are requested. You can change or withdraw your consent at any time in the app, without affecting the lawfulness of processing before the withdrawal.

For users in other countries, Ukraine included, and everywhere for crash reports, notifications and replies to your emails, the legal basis is our legitimate interest in running, improving and funding a free app (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)).

5. Retention and transfers

Google retains data under its own rules, set out on the pages linked in section 3; for Google Analytics we have set a retention period of two months. We keep emails for as long as we need to reply to you.

Google may process data outside the European Economic Area, in particular in the United States, on the basis of the adequacy decision for the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and, where that does not apply, standard contractual clauses.

6. Your rights

You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, objection and data portability, and the right to withdraw consent. In particular, you can object at any time to processing based on our legitimate interest.

We hold no identifier that links the data Google collects to you: we can act on a request about that data only if you give us information that lets us identify it (GDPR Art. 11). You can also act directly: clear the app’s data or uninstall it, reset your advertising ID in Android settings, turn off notifications, and change your consent in the app.

You can lodge a complaint with the Polish supervisory authority (Prezes UODO) or the authority of the country where you live or work; in Ukraine, that is the Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights.

Providing data is not mandatory, and we make no decisions based solely on automated processing.

7. Children and changes

The app is not intended for children under 16. If this policy changes, we publish the new version here with a new effective date.
